Andrei is honored to read and speak at the American Writers Museum as part of its series: My America: Immigrant and Refugee Writers Today, presented by Jeanne M. & John W. Rowe; curated by a team including Marie Arana, Ilan Stavans, Vu Hoang Tran, Chris Abani, Laila Halaby, Dipika Mukherjee, and special advisor Viet Thanh Nguyen, and others.

This exhibit and program series examines modern immigrant & refugee writing influences on America culture & history. Through video exhibits and a speaking series, these contemporary authors convey personal experience and elicit thoughtful dialogue on issues facing immigrants, refugees and second generation immigrants, such as being multilingual, community, family, and what it means to be American.
